Thank you for your interest in the Central New York SPCA Volunteer Program! The Central New York SPCA is currently looking for volunteers who are committed, accountable and responsible to volunteer a minimum of 6 hours a month to help us “Speak for those who cannot speaking for themselves”. We need friendly, out going and personable volunteers to assist the public and staff in our shelter and at off site adoption events. If you LOVE working with people to help the animals, then this is the place for you.
Our final orientation will be in October for 2017. If you would like to get in to it then please email our Volunteer Coordinator at email@example.com
Group Orientation is not for high-school community service hours; students must contact the Volunteer Coordinator and be pre-registered for these types of education related community service. Due to liability and safety issues, high school students will not be permitted to interact with shelter animals.
