Thank you from the Board
The Board of Directors at the Central New York SPCA and our staff would like to “Thank” the Community, donors, and volunteers who have reached out to support the Central New York SPCA in our recent case.
The Board of Directors, staff and volunteers at the Central New York SPCA are passionate about the animals who find a temporary home at our shelter before going to their “forever” home. We are committed to making our shelter for ALL members of the Community to be proud of.
As always, everything we do is for the animals trusted into our care. The most important key to our success is the Community.
We would like to share a moment on the evening of October 31, 2018 when we received the 100 cats. At 11:30 pm as some of our staff was leaving the shelter – people from the community were dropping off items and thanking staff for their hard work and everything they do on at the shelter. There is a lot of work when you receive so many animals. Such as medical care, cleaning, feeding, documenting and managing the adoption process. Not to mention, foster care for the sick. So, a simple “Thank You” that evening meant the world to staff. After all that we have been through, it warms our hearts to know that the Community believes in all the changes we have made to ensure that every animal is well-taken care at the Central New York SPCA.
Thank you, from the Caring Staff of the SPCA, your generosity is overwhelming.
